Taihu Dongshan Island is located in Wuzhong District, Suzhou City, and historically was an island in Taihu Lake. Over time, it transformed into a peninsula that extends into the lake, yet the name Dongshan Island has persisted.
Dongshan Island features numerous dispersed attractions, including Qiyuan Garden, Carved Flower Building, Zijin Temple, San Shan Island, and Luliang Ancient Town as its main scenic spots.
This area is surrounded by water on almost all sides, boasting mountains, waters, gardens, ancient villages, and residences, along with seasonal fresh specialties unique to each season.
Known as the backyard garden of Suzhou, it is an ideal destination for vacations. The opening hours are all year round, open all day, with specific business status subject to the daily opening conditions.
