The Taipei Waterworks Museum, designed in the style of Western Baroque architecture, boasts an elegant and vintage appearance, with special functional designs to meet water pumping requirements. Inside, the museum displays the development process of Taiwan’s modern water supply, showcasing the historical progress of water resource development by our ancestors. This includes antique water pumping equipment, various maintenance tools, and firefighting equipment, all of which are precious historical testimonies. Visitors can also experience the actual water treatment process on-site, including modern medication and disinfection, and strict quality control, to truly appreciate the hard-won nature of water resources. Additionally, the water park is planned with different themed areas. The Misty Water Garden provides visitors with spaces for water observation, interaction, and play; garden landscapes, water town courtyards, and pipe material sculpture areas offer places for rest and enjoyment; the water distribution equipment area and the Gongguan Water Treatment Plant showcase the actual water supply process; and the Gongguan Guanyin Mountain has a complete mountain trail, allowing visitors to walk leisurely and get close to nature. The park is open Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00 from January 1st to June 30th; from July 1st to August 31st, it is open from 09:00 to 18:00; and from September 1st to December 31st, it is open from 09:00 to 17:00. The park is closed all day on Mondays throughout the year. Note: 1. The park is closed every Monday; it operates normally on Mondays that fall on continuous holidays. 2. The Water Town Courtyard is mainly open during the summer months (July and August), and the opening times outside the summer period are subject to the park’s announcements.
