The Thousand Islands Lake, located upstream of the Feicui Reservoir in Shihding District, Xindian City, was formed due to the relocation of surrounding villages during the construction of the reservoir. A portion of Yong’an Village’s mountainous area became the catchment area, resulting in the creation of numerous lakes and islands of varying sizes. The lake is open to visitors all year round, with access available 24 hours a day.
