Tongluo Town

Tongluo, formerly known as Yanmu, is located in the southwestern part of Wujiang District. The name Yanmu has been in use for over six hundred years. Historically, Yanmu was a bustling commercial hub with an 800-meter-old street, broad and expansive. Along the Fengqiao River, continuous corridors were built, and residential houses were constructed close to the water. The former residence of the Ming Dynasty poet Wang Shoucheng, ancient residential buildings, Jiale Hall, Fenyang King Palace, and the city-level cultural relics protection unit, Wang’s Residence, are among the many historical sites scattered throughout the town.
