Wanfo Mountain is located 85 kilometers southwest of Shucheng County and 140 kilometers away from Hefei urban area. Its geographical location is relatively remote and there are few tourists. However, one can see the original natural scenery. It is suitable for tourists who like to find tranquility and explore unconventional paths.
Wanfo Mountain is divided into three major areas: the Qingliangjian scenic area at the foot of the mountain, the Feilong Waterfall scenic area on the mountainside, and the Laofoding scenic area on the top of the mountain. The main peak, Laofoding, is 1539 meters above sea level. Climbing along the mountain road, one can see waterfalls, strange rocks, and lush vegetation, full of the wild fun of climbing.
The Qingliangjian at the foot of Wanfo Mountain is a small stream. There are red scenic spots in this area.
The Feilong Waterfall scenic area on the mountainside has many waterfalls. When encountering a fork in the road, take the road on the left. The scenic spots are concentrated on the left. When going down the mountain, take the road on the right.
Continue forward to reach the waterfall in the Feilong Waterfall scenic area – the Emmenopterys henryi waterfall. The waterfall is 110 meters high.
