The Wang’s Ancestral Hall is a landmark ancient building in Huatang ancient village. In May 2013, it was listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit of the seventh batch. The Wang’s Ancestral Hall is composed of two ancestral halls, the Grand Ancestral Hall and the New Ancestral Hall, with an area of about 1800 square meters. It was built earlier in the Yuan Dynasty and is the ancestral hall of descendants of Wang Xizhi. The existing building was built in the seventh year of Zhengde in the Ming Dynasty. It was built by descendants of the Wang family to commemorate Wang Qiong, the 36th generation grandson of Wang Xizhi and a filial son, and his chaste wife Shi.
