Water-Dripping Dan Screen is located on a coastal rock cliff in the southwest of Weizhou Island. Water droplets often fall from the crevices in the cliff wall, hence the name Water-Dripping Rock. This scenic spot boasts layered marine erosion textures, making it an ideal place to enjoy the sunset. Due to the marine erosion, the layers of texture on the vermillion rocks are very distinct, especially beautiful under the glow of the setting sun. With its advantageous geographical position and the fishing boats on the nearby sea serving as a backdrop, this location has become a prime spot for sunset viewing on Weizhou Island. On clear evenings, it presents an intoxicating seaside sunset. Additionally, the area features clear blue waters, pristine quality, fine sand near the water’s edge, and a scattering of broken corals, leading to pine forests as one approaches the shore, making a stroll on the beach quite pleasant. Many people also swim here, but it is not an official swimming beach, and for safety reasons, visitors are advised not to swim in the sea.
