Wenlan Cultural Park is located in Lingao County, Hainan Province, situated by the Wenlan River and at the heart of the new city. The planning area spans from Wenlan Avenue in the south to Jinlan Avenue in the north, from the eastern shore of the Wenlan River to the municipal avenue in the west. The entire park is approximately 1200 meters wide from east to west and about 2000 meters long from north to south.
Within the park, there is a 2-kilometer-long pavilion with classic couplets from the 5000-year history of the Chinese nation engraved on it. The park also features the World Historical Colonnade and the Chinese Historical Colonnade. In addition to these, there will be the construction of an Aloha Plaza, a Lili Mei Plaza, a Lingao Ancient City, and a Lingao Planning Exhibition Hall. Furthermore, the park will expand its water surface by three to four hundred mu to create water entertainment facilities, making it one of the larger cultural parks in the province and a ‘business card’ and landmark of Lingao.
The park is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
