Wu Tao Workshop is a quintessential example of a ‘front shop, back workshop’ model characteristic of Jiangnan workshops, where the majority of the products sold in the front shop are crafted in the back workshop.

The shop’s offerings include distinctive items such as pottery flutes, ceramic utensils, and various decorative items. Most products are made from deeply excavated clay, undergoing a special and complex process of making and firing. This method carries on and perpetuates the essence of pottery culture that has been passed down for thousands of years, fully exploring, showcasing, and recreating the spiritual connotations and cultural-historical features of Wu Tao culture.
