Xiangfei National Forest Park

Xiangfei National Forest Park is renowned for its “ancient camphor trees with unique shapes, lush forests with ancient trees, famous fruits and teas, towering cliffs with cascading waterfalls, and cultural embellishments”. It is a comprehensive forest park integrating leisure, sightseeing, vacation, and convalescence.

The park is rich in resources, boasting a concentration of camphor trees that account for 60% of the national output, covering an area of over 50,000 acres. It is home to 25,000 ancient camphor trees that are over 500 years old, and more than 2,700 rare ancient camphor trees that are over a thousand years old. In addition, there are more than 6,500 acres of cherries, over 8,000 acres of famous teas, and more than 10,000 acres of chestnuts. The park also features numerous other high-quality agricultural products such as bamboo, bayberries, and peach trees, making it a place where “flowers bloom all year round and fruits are fragrant in all seasons”. It is a natural primitive forest park and a veritable mountain of flowers and fruits.

Within the park, the mountains are high, the forests are lush, and the air is fresh. The roads wind upwards, leading to quaint rural villages. The scenic spots within the park, such as the ancient camphor forest on Xianping Mountain, the Xiangfei Culture Pavilion, the King of Xiangfei, the Three Elders of External Propaganda, and the Walking Horse Ridge, are rare attractions for tourists to visit.
