Xiangshan is located in Xinyi District, Taipei City. It is named after its resemblance to an elephant. It, together with the nearby Tiger Mountain, Leopard Mountain, and Lion Mountain, are collectively known as the Four Beast Mountains. The mountain top is 183 meters above sea level. It is not very high, but there is no barrier in front. The Taipei Basin is unobstructed and it is a good place for climbing and overlooking.
