Xianxia Lake, also known as Hunanzhen Reservoir, is located in the south of Quzhou. Covering an area of about 2151 square kilometers, it is filled by the Wuxijiang River diversion canal. It is one of the large reservoirs in East China. Surrounding the lake are numerous mountain ranges, ancient trees reaching into the sky, and deep valleys. The continuous peaks encircle Xianxia Valley. The lake water is clear and green, like a bright mirror, occasionally with ripples.
