Xie Jin’s Hometown Jinsheng Star Film Studio is a cultural tourism scenic area established in memory of the famous director Xie Jin. It is located in Shangyu District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. This film studio not only showcases Xie Jin’s classic film works, but also includes his life stories and artistic career. It is a film-themed park integrating exhibition, social education, leisure and entertainment. There are nearly 7,000 exhibits in the park, showing Xie Jin’s rich artistic life and the local customs and traditions of his hometown, aiming to let tourists deeply understand the creative process of this artist. In addition, the film studio also contains multiple film-themed spaces, such as the 1923 studio, ‘Paramount Ballroom’, ‘Kung Fu Hall’, ‘Photo Studio’, ‘Mist over Dongshan Mountain’, ‘Gold Powder Mansion’, ‘Meeting on the Tower’, etc., providing an immersive film experience environment. The park also has ‘Jinsheng Bookstore’, ‘Liangcang Amusement Hall’ and ’24FPS Cafe’, which provide humanistic heart, trendy play projects and light catering services with film themes respectively.
