Yu Tai Salt Shop was established by Jiang Siqian in 1871 and later inherited by Jiang Zhaocong. After Jiang Zhaocong’s death, the salt shop was managed by Jiang Jieqing when the brothers divided the family estate. In 1919, the salt shop was closed as Jiang Jieqing went out to seek opportunities. The current structure includes three multi-story buildings, three single-story houses, as well as kitchen and toilet facilities and other ancillary constructions. It is open from April 21st to September 30th, 08:00-17:30; and from October 1st to April 20th, 08:00-17:00, with the specific business status subject to the daily opening conditions.
