The Xiushanmen Museum is a characteristic museum that showcases the regional culture of Chizhou. It mainly displays cultural relics such as wood carvings, stone carvings, and brick carvings. At the same time, it houses celebrity calligraphy and paintings, ceramics, bronzes, jades and other artifacts. The collection is rich and of excellent quality. It mainly shows people ancient architectural art and carving art, and reflects people’s living environment, aesthetic taste and ethical education from one aspect. There are more than 4,000 pieces of cultural relics in the collection, including 11 second-level cultural relics. The basic exhibition design is as follows: The first floor is Ancient Charm of Stone City, mainly an exhibition of stone carving art; the second floor is Remnants of Qiupu, a wooden component exhibition hall; the third floor is Wonderful Scenery of Chiyang, an ancient residence exhibition hall; the fourth floor is Jixian Hall, a Chizhou regional culture exhibition hall; the fifth floor is Wenxuan Tower, an exhibition hall of Zhaoming culture. There is also a boutique room in the museum, mainly collecting celebrity calligraphy and paintings, ceramics, bronzes, jades and other artifacts. Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday all year round from 09:00 to 17:00; closed all day on Monday all year round.
