Yalong Bay Shell Museum

The Shell Museum is a comprehensive exhibition hall in the center of Yalong Bay Square, integrating shell popular science, exhibition, and sales. The shells here are exquisite and unique, with some being rare to see. The museum is mainly decorated in warm natural tones, reflecting the infinite charm of the undersea world.

The exhibition hall is divided into five major oceanic regions, displaying over 300 representative shells from around the world. There is an array of rare and colorful shells and corals, from precious nautilus shells to common small conchs, everything is available. You can find the angel wing clam symbolizing purity, the brilliantly colored Australian sea fan clam, the living fossil red turban snail, and the nautilus, among others. You can also see the worm clusters resembling the burdened old man, the angel wing snails of the Atlantic, and the giant snake conch from the South China Sea.
