Yehejiu Scenic Area

Yehejiu is a new type of ecological leisure resort that integrates ecological tourism, sightseeing, summer retreat, and leisure health preservation, known as the Shangri-La of Ningbo. The scenic area is rich in natural landscapes, including steep and peculiar waterfalls and pools, as well as abundant flora and fauna resources. It features crisscrossing valleys, lush forests, rich medicinal herbs, serene environment, fresh air, and a cool and pleasant climate. The scenery is graceful and varied, with beautiful mountain and water views. Additionally, it boasts cascading waterfalls, wide areas of well-preserved natural evergreen forests, and other natural landscapes.

Inside Yehejiu, there are 36 pools and 18 waterfalls, hundreds of medicinal herbs, thousands of acres of bamboo forests. The seclusion of its ravines, the beauty of its waters, the greenery of its bamboo, and the spirituality of its medicinal herbs have attracted the immortal Wang Qiao, who governed the water and drought of Wu and Yue, to live and practice here. Wang Qiao, a prince of the ancient Zhou Lingwang, is also known as the ‘Tongbai True Person’. At the same time, Xu Xiake, the famous Chinese traveler, also visited and rested here.

Opening hours are from 8:00 to 16:00 all year round. Preferential policies for children: free for those under 1.2 meters (inclusive); half price for those between 1.2 meters (exclusive) and 1.5 meters (inclusive).
