The Snow Vegetable Museum is located in Pingyao Village, Dongwu Town, Yinzhou District. From the traditional method of pickling in large jars and selling in small buckets to the modern industrial production and assembly line operations, the over 500-year history of snow vegetable production in Yinzhou District will be showcased in the newly opened Snow Vegetable Museum.

The museum primarily exhibits the history, varieties, processing and pickling techniques of Yinzhou snow vegetables, as well as the delicacies made with salted vegetables. The aim is to protect and inherit the unique intangible cultural heritage of ‘Qiu Guai Salted Vegetable Pickling Skills’. Amidst the increasing industrialization of food production, it preserves the local cuisine and showcases the unique charm of the simple labor patterns.
