Situated within the Yuanshan Natural Landscape Park, the archaeological site is a prehistoric relic discovered in the Yuanshan area of Taipei in 1897. Excavations conducted in 1954 unearthed prehistoric shell mounds along with ancient pottery, stone tools, bone tools, and horn tools. The site is open to the public year-round from 08:00 to 17:00, with the specific operating status subject to the day’s opening conditions.
