Yuanyuan Hall is located at the southern foot of the Mu Chang Bridge in Shimen Town, Tongxiang. Originally constructed in the spring of 1933, it was personally designed by Feng Zikai, featuring a tall, spacious, and bright structure with a simple yet profound beauty. Feng Zikai spent his golden years of creation here. In March 1938, Yuanyuan Hall was burned down by the Japanese army. In 1984, the Tongxiang County Government reconstructed it on the original site, following the original design, which includes two courtyards. The front courtyard consists of three stories and three basements, covering an area of 200 square meters, while the rear courtyard comprises two single-story rooms, approximately 50 square meters. The entire layout of the house, the courtyards, the entrance, the flower beds, and the planted flowers and plants all adhere to their original appearance from that time. Inside Yuanyuan Hall, visitors can find relics from Feng Zikai’s life, his publications, manuscripts, photographs, and some calligraphic and painting works by contemporary masters. The opening hours and business status are subject to the daily opening conditions.
