The Yule Pavilion was built in 1961
It is a Chinese-style hexagonal pavilion

Inside the pavilion, there are quotations from the Yule chapter and the motto ‘The wise find pleasure in mountains; the benevolent find pleasure in mountains’, reminding people of the preciousness of being close to mountains and waters
The square in front of the pavilion has a wide field of vision
From here, one can overlook the Qinglong Mountain Range on the opposite bank and the straight line formed by Lalu Island, Xuanguang Temple, Xuanzang Temple, and Cien Pagoda, which happens to be the dividing line between the Sun Moon Lake’s Sun Pool and Moon Pool
Open all year round and all day
