Yuqing Hall is one of the cultural heritage sites in Xitang, a typical Jiangnan water town building constructed in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China period. It faces the street in the front and is adjacent to a river in the back, featuring a layout with a shop in the front and a hall in the back, embodying the typical Jiangnan residential pattern known as ‘Four Waters Gathering in the Hall’.
