The Kanyunlou Imperial Examination Culture Museum in Yuyao City is located on Wang’an Road, Simen Town. It has convenient transportation. The museum has a total of 10 exhibition halls, which are spacious and bright. The exhibition is based on four major themes: ‘Tracing the Origin of China’s Imperial Examination System’, ‘Yuyao in the Imperial Examination Era’, ‘Cultural Relics of Imperial Examination Culture’, and ‘Cultural Customs of Imperial Examination’. With more than 700 pieces of collected cultural relics as strong support, it encompasses more than a thousand years of imperial examination history in China and vividly showcases the historical and cultural heritage of the eastern Zhejiang region.
Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Saturday throughout the year, 9:00 – 17:00.
