The former residence of Zhang Xueliang is located in Qingquan Tribe, Taoshan Village, Wufeng Township. Here is a tribe where the Atayal people live in peace. Zhang Xueliang’s residence was originally a Japanese military officer’s quarters. It is a bungalow built with black tiles and cypress wood. In the year after Zhang Xueliang left Qingquan, this house was destroyed when a typhoon hit. The former residence we see now is rebuilt on the original site and restores the original appearance of the interior and exterior. Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday all year round, 9:00 – 17:00.
