Led by the Office of the Zhanjiang Municipal Committee on the Integration of Civil and Military Development, in conjunction with the Potou District Government, the Municipal Education Bureau, the Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Municipal Veterans Affairs Bureau, and the Tourism Control Group, the equipment installation and settlement work has been implemented. The park fully utilizes retired military equipment and deeply explores the red connotations of Zhanjiang, striving to create a national defense education venue with the theme of promoting national defense education, modern military activity experience as its highlight, and a combination of ornamental, participatory, entertaining, and knowledgeable features. The park is open from March 1st to October 31st, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30; Saturday and Sunday, 09:00-18:00; and from November 1st to February 28th, 09:00-17:00.
