The Zhongshan Building on Yangmingshan is located in Beitou District, Taipei City. The whole building is based on the style of Chinese palace architecture. It is built according to the mountain terrain, with a green glazed tile roof, and is matched with red eaves and white walls. The main roof of the building adopts a single-eaved hip roof. In design and decoration, many auspicious elements are integrated, such as steps with the character ‘longevity’, the Hundred Longevity Bridge, lamp holders with the character ‘blessing’, and bat-checkered doors.
