Zhongyuan Town

Zhongyuan Town is located in the southern part of Qionghai City, bordered by the picturesque Wanquan River to the east, the majestic Baishi Ridge to the west, and adjacent to Jiajie Town, the seat of Qionghai City government, to the north. In the 1950s, this place was once the location of the Lehui County Government, and it has long been known as the ‘Southern Commercial Port of Qionghai’ and the ‘Hometown of Overseas Chinese’. Zhongyuan Town is also situated in the middle section of the East Line Expressway and serves as another important passage to the Boao Paradise Town. With its unique geographical advantages, Zhongyuan Town has become an important node on the eastern golden tourism route of Hainan. The major restaurants in the town receive thousands to tens of thousands of tourists on average every day. Walking through the small town shaded by lush and uniquely shaped banyan trees, with the South Seas-style buildings in yellow, red, and green on both sides, the shops along the streets have been uniformly fitted with wooden signs or stylistically consistent shop signs, and the streets are adorned with vibrant colors. The beautiful flower pots placed outside the shop windows, the exquisite carved pillars, and the nostalgic street lamps all add a beautiful landscape to this newly created South Seas-style town.

The town is open all year round and accessible 24/7.
