Zhu Gui Ci, located at the foot of the west slope of Da Bao Mountain in Cicheng Town, Jiangbei District, Ningbo City, is backed by green mountains and faces the Cijiang River.

Built in the 23rd year of the Daoguang Emperor of the Qing Dynasty (1843), Zhu Gui Ci was funded and constructed by the local people to commemorate the heroic fallen General Zhu Gui and his soldiers. Originally named ‘Gao Jie Temple’, it is also known as ‘Ci Lang Temple’ and commonly referred to as General Zhu’s Temple. The temple consists of two sections, each with five bays, and a central courtyard. On the hillside behind the temple lies the tomb of the soldiers who fell in the Da Bao Mountain battle.
