Dongmaozhou Island is located about forty to fifty nautical miles east of Yongxing Island, with an area of less than one square kilometer.
The island is home to species such as the frigate bird, tern, gray bird, and golden bird, making it a paradise for birds and a key national nature reserve.
Composed of coral reefs, the island boasts dense vegetation, lush and verdant, with a small freshwater lagoon on the southeast side. The superior natural environment attracts a multitude of seabirds to roost, with approximately 60,000 seabirds on the island. The opening hours are subject to the actual operating status on the day.
