The Tainan Art Museum Second Branch features a unique five-pointed design inspired by the city’s iconic phoenix flowers, utilizing vertical stacking and staggered arrangements to create square spaces
Drawing inspiration from the official tree of Tainan, the ‘phoenix tree’, its distinctive canopy shelters the museum’s five stacked volumes comprising 16 exhibition spaces
This structure also creates semi-outdoor platforms
In total, the building encompasses approximately 2,500 square meters of exhibition space, collection areas, performance theaters, children’s art centers, and workshops
Open year-round from Tuesday to Friday, and Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00; Saturday from 10:00 to 21:00; and closed all day on Mondays
